We will contribute to realize a sustainable society as a company that works on providing eco-friendly and safer products/service and respects employees by enabling them to perform their careers and experiences.
Recognizing that global environmental conservation is a company social responsibility, we will contribute to the realization of a society in harmony with the environment.

To promote regional revitalization, we will actively cooperate with sports competitions held in local communities, local volunteer activities, and organizations, and promote the revitalization of local communities as a whole and the relationship within and outside the region.
We will take good care of employee's work-life balance, support their career advancement and create a work environment in which women can work, play an important role regardless of their gender. We will also respect human rights and aim to realize a society in which everyone can work and be treated as individuals.
All employees will work on the following important environmental management themes in order to actively develop activities for significant environmental aspects. We will also set environmental targets to the extent technologically and economically feasible, maintain and improve them, and the Committee will ascertain and review the status of their promotion.
Since 2018, we have been sponsoring the Fukui Futsal Championship sponsored by the Fukui Soccer Association as our main sponsor. The tournament is divided into eight categories within the prefecture, with approximately 170 teams participating. Each team is engaged in a heated battle aimed at winning the tournament. We will continue to actively support local sports activities the physical fitness of the children who will lead the next generation and the revitalization of the community.

Since 2018, we have sponsored the Fukui Maruoka RUCK, a local NPO. It's a competitive team which has won numerous national competitions, including the Japan Women's Futsal League. We look forward to seeing their further achievements in the future.

As a community member, we are conducting cleanup activities in the vicinity of our business sites. In addition, we join at local exhibitions and the other local events and give kids opportunities to enjoy manufacturing, sponsor and participate in local festivals to promote interactive relationship with local communities.

We sponsor FM Fukui's Crime Prevention Buzzer Campaign for Kids in order to prevent crimes and raise awareness of local safety activities through radio broadcasting. This campaign is designed to prevent crimes against kids by distributing crime prevention buzzers free of charge to new first-grade elementary schools in Fukui Prefecture and by making it clear that kids have crime prevention buzzers.
We hold plant tours for local junior and senior high school students to give them opportunities to learn about social sciences. They take a tour to look on the manufacturing process of our press machines and learn the fact that the press machine forms a part of automobiles they usually look at. We will continue to give kids opportunities to have curiosity on things they are surrounded thorough the tours.
Compliance is the foundation of our sustainability promotion activities, and we regard compliance as a top management priority. We have established the Compliance Committee, chaired by the president and directors, to regularly verify our operations from the viewpoint of compliance. In addition, we have established internal and external whistle-blowing hotlines to promote systematic compliance management. In addition, we regularly conduct compliance training for all employees in order to train their compliance mindsets.
In accordance with the Act for Measures to Support the Development of the Next-Generation Children, we have formulated "Action Plans of General Business Operators" and are going to increase the yearly rate that employees take their paid holidays by 10%.
In order to encourage employees to take paid holidays, we have run a campaign to take five paid holidays.
In addition, we have established an anniversary paid holiday system that allows employees to take on free anniversary dates, such as zones paid holidays and birthdays, which are taken in conjunction with weekend holidays.
We have introduced flextime system with a core time from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The system makes it possible for employees to freely set their working hour and choose their own work style in line with their own lifestyles.
We make every Thursday "No Overtime Day" and encourage employees to get home early and take time for family.
We have introduced the accumulated paid holidays system that enables employees to take the accumulated paid holidays for long-term medical treatment and nursing care and nursing care for their families.
We have established a system to give employees support that bears the costs for obtaining necessary certificates and provides incentives. We are also encouraging them to take trainings and seminars held by other organizations.
As part of our efforts to improve employee's manufacturing techniques and the other related skills, we make it mandatory for employees in charge of manufacturing to participate in the Hitachi Zosen Group's skill competitions in the fields of ball-cutting, melting, and machine processing.
In order to improve their English skills, we make it mandatory for them to take TOEIC IP TEST periodically.
We also encourage employees who meet some level to take an English class.
In order to create a work environment that makes it easier for women to continue working, we have introduced systems such as encouraging them to take childcare leaves and nursing care leaves. In addition, we have set targets for the ratio of women in managerial positions and are encourage them to participate in trainings and seminars regarding career advancement.
